We grow grass-fed beef, hay, and squash. We also grow
healthy soil, good wildlife habitats and work hard to be neighborly. We
try to farm with respect for animals, soil, water, other farmers, neighbors,
and customers.
Come visit! The farm is just south of the intersection of Rt. 112 and Rt.
116 in Ashfield, Massachusetts.

This
photograph: The farm was a dairy farm for 150 years, and has some very
old barns. All are in need of repair, which we are undertaking as we
figure out what core farm use they will have. Here is the east face of
the white barn.
The beautiful watercolor on the left is by Helen Hodges,
Ashfield artist and neighbor. She has painted the fields and buildings of
our farm and the area for years, and has original art and prints for
sale.
